Baldwin Borough -- Baldwin Borough Public Library hosts these programs:

• New Reader's Theater, 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Dec. 16, Jan. 20, Feb. 17. Open to grades 5-12. Participants will learn, among things, to use vocal expression to give a dramatic presentation of a written work, without memorization.

• Preschool Story Time for ages 3-6, 10 a.m. Friday, and Dec. 12 and 19.

• Baby Lapsit, 10 a.m. Dec. 11. Offers children up to 24 months and their caregivers a chance to share time at the library.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

Bethel Park -- Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road, will hold a "Dancing With the Christ Church Stars" dinner theater at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11-12. Vote at your dinner table for the best dance couple. Dinner includes chicken marsala, salad, sides and dessert. Dinner is $15 per adult; $8 per child (age 12 or younger). Proceeds will benefit Youth Ministries. For tickets, call 412-835-6621.

Bethel Park -- Programs at South Hills Assembly, 2725 Bethel Church Road, include:

• Lunch Bunch, a Bible study and luncheon for those age 65 and older, noon Dec. 18 in the multi-purpose room. Cost is $6.

• Free Movie Night, 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 27. Snacks and beverages are provided. Singles, couples and children age 13 and older (accompanied by an adult) are welcome. Registration requested.
